Vegetables, especially the green ones, contain many protective
nutrients that I think are very important to eat in todays polluted
enviroment; even more if we are eating foods high on the food chain,
which are many times more contaminated with toxins. Also, shoots,
tubers & leaves were all part of our ancestry diet, and I think it
takes some time and effort on our part to recondition our taste buds to
again to appreciate the finer tastes of these foods. With so many foods
available today concentrated in either sugar or fat, we are not
motivated to seek out and eat these "blander tasting" foods. Going out
into nature on guided, wild food foraging expeditions might help
expedite the process.

Best, Peter
