Islam and LDS may seem 'different' to those more familiar with
ordinary Protestant Xianity or Reform Judaism, but they assert one
deity in the sky, have buildings for worship (at times of the
building), and seem to go to war and kill those who disagree, much as
other religions with states to corrupt them do.
   Consider the Dao (Taoism) or early Theravada Buddhism-- no deity.
Consider Old Order Amish-- the church is a working barn.
Or consider the Yezidi-- they worship Satan because God is bound to
do good, but Satan is a wily fellow you don't want to make mad at
you.
   Religion is a good tax break and a bad master, even when the faith
is in this or that food, or this or that way of dining.                  Pet
