Dear Michael:
I am from Argentina but now I live in Peru. I am 36 years old, married since
1990, I have two sons (male 5 years old female 1 year old), my wife Peggy is
from Bolivia and she is 26 years.

I am System Engineer (Computer Science), and since 1986 I work for
international organizations (PNUD and CIAT) helping governments to improve
their tax administration.

In 1976 and I read "Amucusless Diet" by Arnold Ehret (and other books)and I
liked him a lot. Since 1976 to 1986 I practiced his amucusless diet with
some success, about 1978 I got into the Ehretist Club in USA, but I couldn't
stay eating only fuits more than 3 or 4 weeks. After that I broke my diet
and I ate EVERYTHING. After a time I begun the chalenge again.

One of the most important difficulties that I suffer was the cold climate.
Buenos Aires (Argentina) in winter is too cold and wet. When I ate only
fruits I suffered the cold weather a lot. That's the reason why, in 1986 (I
was working for Price Waterhouse company) I asked my boss to send me to work
to a hotter country. I thougth that a hotter temperature will help me in my
objective of being 100% frutarian. Two months latter he offered me to go to
work to Bolivia. I saw the map... I saw it was in the north of Argentina...
closer to Ecuador Line... that meant hotter weather... and I accepted with
enthusism! (and hopeness)...

But in Bolivia... I didn't got much more success than in Argentina. La Paz
City is at 3600 meters on the sea level and the temperature is 100 C during
all the year (average)! I lived 5 years there, enjoing new fruits that I did
not know (papaya, mangos, etc.) but feeling cold. (in 1990 I got married and
it helped to raise the temperature but it was not enougth).

In 1992 my new boss offered me to go to work to Peru. I looked at the map

Peru was in the north of Bolivia... closer to Ecuador Line... then more
temperature... then bigger posibilities of been succesful in my fruit
diet...I accepted!

When I arrived to Lima City (Peru) I waited to feel a very very hot
temperature, but...it was not so. Lima is close to the sea. And the sea
comes from the south and the water temperature is really cold. Lima is
hotter than La Paz, but it is not as hot as I would like.

Peru is the best that I have known in fruits! Quantity, quality, diversity,
price, taste... Nine month a year you have very very sweet water melons! Ten
or twenty sweet diferent fruits twelve months a year! Wonderfull chirimoyas,
different kinds of sweet oranges, etc. (I don't want to bother you but if
you want I can continue telling you about them).

In Peru I had not too much success at the beginning. But now I am relatively
happy. I am in my 14 month of 100% frutarian diet. During the last 14 month
I have eaten nothing but RAW FRUIT. No salt, no sugar, no seeds, no nuts, no
water, nothing cooked, nothin but raw fruit.

I have received a lot of benefits in my health. But my health is no good
enought yet.

Why? I exactly don't know. But I continue looking for. I suppose that the
reason is that I use to eat some fruits that I feel they poisson my blood:
avocados, and other local fruits full of grease and starch. I feel they make
my blood ACID. And I can't stop of eating them. I need them like a drug. I
have never smoken, drunk or used drugs. But I think these fruits are as
addicted as the drugs.

I hope to be able to let the acidic fruits in the short time.

If you (or anybody in the net) may send me an advise or comment it will be
very apreciated.

Yours,
Roberto Wajsman Crespo.
