I read We Want To Live by Aajonus Vonderplanitz in 1997 and after talking
to him started eating raw meat and raw dairy. After 12 years a vegan and 10
of then all raw it was a wonderful change for my body and has enabled my
body to heal in ways that did not occur as a raw vegan. There are a small
number of his followers here in Los Angeles who order grass fed buffalo
meat and organs from Nebraska and everyone takes a share. This is a very
expensive way to obtain our meat but the quality is excellent. It is
shipped to us unfrozen. I eat about a pound of meat a day. I have tried
supermarket meat but it does not seem to have as good a flavor as the
buffalo or the beef I can get at Wild Oats and Whole Foods. I avoid farm
raise fish due to their abnormal diet (grains) and the antibiotics.
