Thanks to the dedicated work of Don Wiss whose behind the scenes efforts
are even more invisible than those of our listowner Dave Karas, a couple of
new features have been added to the home page of the raw-food archives at

http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/raw-food.html>

 - The first new feature, "Post to the list", makes it possible for
subscribers of raw-food to post messages to the list directly from the
archive page. To do this it is necessary to first follow the steps and get
a listserv password. Only when your listserv password has been confirmed
by listserv - the whole procedure will take a day or two - will it be
possible for you to use this feature.

 - The other feature, "Join or leave the list", makes it possible to
subscribe or unsubscribe directly from the archive webpage.

A couple of other issues:

 - The daily posting limit for each subscriber is five posts. If more
messages are sent, listserv will send a notification informing that the
messages beyond the daily limit will be posted to the list the next day.

 - There is a 500 line limit for each message sent to the list. If the
message is longer, it will bounce with a notification that the message is
too long.

 - Please avoid stringing replies to different threads into one post as it
diminishes the effectiveness of the archive search engine.

 - The archive problem has been solved. No longer will any blank messages
show up, when sorting by date.

Best, Peter
