Dear Bernarr,

In general, I believe you are right that exercise is a good thing.
There are situations though, where this may not be true.

Exercise creates free radicals, which in a healthy, clean body are not
a problem, but could be a problem for someone who's system is not very
clean. Though the lymph circulation is speeded up through movement, it
is possible to be so toxic and congested with the cellular waste, that
more harm than good is done through excessive exercise.

These people need that deep physiological rest that you and I agree is
so beneficial-a fast. Once again clean, they will certainly benefit
from moderate amounts of exercise.

Exercise, to the already enervated person, is harmful, not beneficial.
You were speaking specifically about cancer, and I do not know of
anyone personally who exacerbated their cancer through exercise, but
it would seem to me quite logical. I know of many toxic people who
have exacerbated problems of arteriosclerosis, leading to heart attack
or stroke. These people would almost certainly have benefited from a
complete rest.

Namaste,

Loren
