No ideas. "L" and "D" refer to the action on polarized light, but
several stereoisomers can be "L", and several can be "D", so the first
thing would be to inquire wheter ascorbic acid has only two, or has
more stereoisomers.
Another concern about supplements/instincto/nutrition is that we are
not sure the supplements will be assimilated correctly, and ge to the
right target. Burger mentioned in his book that (if my memory serves
me well) his mother had osteoporosis, despite the fact that she
consumed lots of dairy products, and that a few months after she began
taking supplements, she became deaf because of a calcium deposit in
her ears.
