Tom:
If you are consuming them instincto-style - alone, waiting for a taste
change or stop sign, then you might not overdo them.  But most people
don't do it that way - they read that such and such herb is good for them,
or for a problem they have, so they go out and consume large quantities
of the herb or juice, raw, without concern for proper dosage or taste
changes. Mixing bad tasting juices with celery or carrot juice is the
proverbial double-bladed sword: helps you to take them, but makes it easy
to overdose, because their taste is masked by the other juices.
