Hey, has anyone seen these romaine lettuces packaged three to a ziplock
type bag (with perforations)? Not organic, but 99 cents per bag!
Considering that a single head of romaine is now anywhere from $0.99 to
$1.29 in the stores near here, and that the outer leaves are often
bitter/rotting/damaged anyway, these bags look like a bargain. Of course
it's in plastic... Might be worth looking for (in the section where all the
prewashed spinach/mixed salad green are found).

Anyway, just curious, are these everywhere, or just the Vons and Luckys in
southern CA?

Cheers,
Kirt
