Something I forgot in my other post was cold-pressed olive oil.  What you
can do is just take a bottle with you if you are travelling and drink it
straight out of the bottle.  You won't feel hungry for quite a while.  At
least that's my experience.  Supposedly in Greece some people
traditionally start the day with a glass of olive oil, or so I've read.

About the only other easy to carry raw food is dried fruit.  And perhaps
dried meat.
