Liza asked:

> Soooo - have you fasted? Were you happy with it? Any bad problems with it?

Just once, for 10 days. The benefits I got (improved digestion) were only
temporary. THe other advantage is that I had never read so many books in
such a short period of time. I think my fast wasn't conducted very well,
because:

*I absolutely wanted to remain active: work full-time, run 2 miles each
morning and in addition workout 1.5 hours/day, run up the stairs, etc.
Doing so was *possible* but somewhat strenuous. I now think that when
fasting, you should rest.

*My friends and relatives didn't approve me. If I did it again, I would
proably stay away from them, so that they don't see my skeletal face.

*I started raw food just afterwards. Since my weight remained low for
some time, it triggered excessive eating.

If I did it again, I certainly wouldn't repeat the same mistakes. But the
difficult part is to be less active for some time.

Best wishes,

Jean-Louis
