It depends which font you're using.  Different fonts use different numbers.
Go to Start/Find Files and Folders and do a search for Charmap.exe.  Mine is
in my Windows folder.  Open the program and it will show you the character
maps for each of the fonts.

I never tried this till now.
Either I am reading this wrong, or I have to install
(or remove) something else to make this work.
All I "get" is three error beeps from my MB speaker
when I hit ALT+1+5+6
