There is a better way. Or, at least there used to be.  There is (was) a site
for corporate downloads that is used by administrators that need to install
to many computers.  I did all my download now, install later upgrades from
there up until I installed XP.  One caution.  when downloading IE, be sure
to opt for the full install, or you will have to remember everything you did
not include when it comes time to install.
