AOL uses the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser. I am not sure about the
minimum browser version for each version, but I'm guessing the recomended
version of MSIE for each AOL version is the version of MSIE located on the CD
(hope you understood all that). For instance, MSIE 6.0 comes packaged with
AOL 7.0, so the recomended is probably be MSIE 6.0.

Also, starting with AOL 5.0, i think, there has been a small application that
shows you various information about your version, or versions of AOL, called
AOL System Information. The file itself is called [ sinf.exe ], usually
located at
[ c:\windows\aolshare\sysinfo\sinf.exe ]. After openeing the program, go to
the tab
[ System information ]. Under browser version is the current version of the
browser that AOL uses. Although you could also get that information by going
to Internet explorer, and going to help/about.

Hope this helps
