David G did not pose the password question he responded to another
subscriber's inquiry and David is right....you can not simply erase a file
and start over or use a shareware program in order to recover NT
administrative passwords and or privileges. The questioner will need to
recover his data as best he can and start over. One of NTs main advantages
is a lock down security system. ...compared to NT 95 has no security. It
wouldn't be much of a secure OS if all you had to do was to delete a file
or run shareware program in order to hack it !
