Susan,
Go to Control Panel/System Properties (Windows key+Pause/Break). Click the
Performance tab and at the bottom under "Advance Settings" click the "File
System" button. In the File System Properties window click the "Floppy Disk"
tab and uncheck the box. Click "Apply" and "OK" on the way out.

Subject: Checking for A Drive
Could someone please remind me how to set a computer NOT to
check for the A drive when it boots up? I did this on my old
computer, but I can't remember how I did it. I am running
WindowsME.
Thanks,
Susan Hays
