Just for e-mail purposes only, but you can check out Juno free e-mail. I
believe,
http://www.juno.com
Like I said, this is for e-mail only but it is free as long as there is a
local access number. It is limited in that you cannot receive
attachments and message sizes are limited, or used to be, to around 50k
if memory serves. It is a very simple program to use.
In Tulsa, not far from here, there are several companies offering
unlimited internet access for around $13.00 per month, though I have not
tried any, it's long distance for me. Most ISP's also offer limited
usage plans where you will get a certain number of hours for under $10
then charge by the hour after that.
Take care,
David A. Abbe
