I have used a DOS program called FastLynx to exchange files between systems
as diverse as DOS 5 and W98 (beta 3).
I have no idea if the program is still available. The files are dated 1990
and there is a tech support number (303) 494-5317 listed in the help file.
I prefer it to Laplink as it seems to be simpler to operate and only takes
140K of diskspace.
Only problem is if a screen saver kicks in during a long transfer session
FastLinx may hang.
