I download freeware all the time for learning centers that do not have
access to the funds needed for the top dollar stuff.

602 Software has a free office suite with a word processor, spread sheet and
image editor (one of the best and easiest I have used). I use this software
at work and it is compatible with Office 97-2000. It is a much smaller
download than Sun Office. Sun is a hundred megs I believe, but 602 is about
13 megs. Registration is free.

If you will send me a list of things she would like to have on her computer
or things she would like to do with her computer, I can send you the info on
what I have.

Fran

I also use the AntiVir Software - wonderful program.
