Config and Autoexec look ok (assuming you mis typed the last lines with mouse
but it should not affect boot up).
Himem.sys and emm386.exe in the DOS subdirectory will be newer and better than
those in the windows sub dir for all versions of DOS v5 and up. So use those
rather than the ones in windows sub dir.

1) Run chkdks or scandisk on c:
2) boot and press F5 when the Staring MS-DOS message appears, if you get the
the C: prompt then one of the programs/drivers is "broken" as in it died.
then reboot and press F8 when the starting ms-dos message appears and step
through each line until it stops loading. where it stops loading is where the
problem resides. You can reboot and run through procedure again this time
answering No to load it question for that particular driver/device. That will
narrow it down a bit.
3) If it's himem.sys that complains about memory errors or parity then it's
time to replace memory if you can find it.
