If you want to move files from one directory, drive or computer to another,
there are a pair of programs in DOS 6.22 called Intreserver and Interlink.
You connect a special interlink cable between the parallel printer ports (or
the serial communication ports) of the two machines (same port on both
machines), run server on one computer, which becomes a file server
(temporarily) and interlink on the other.
The link or client machine now has full control of the disk drives on both
machines, allowing it to initiate copy, move or delete of files on each
machine, or from one to the other.
Note, that since this is a DOS program you will lose long filenames for
anything moved or copy.
