Hi Sami,
Some new about K6-3 which I found in a magazine, and hope it will benefit
you :
AMD plans to introduce its next design code name the AMD-K6-3 processor
before years end, it will be enormous : 21.3 million transistor (compared to
9.3 million for the K6-2)in a 0.25 micron process that still yields a chip
thats 135 square millimeters (compared to 81 square millimeters on the .025
micron K6-2). The main cause of this high transistor count and extra size
the interruption of an on chip, processor speed level 2 cache. This new
chip will match the PII/Slot one architecture's cash performance.
Thanks

Hello everyone
I was wondering if any of you has some information about the K6-3. as I
understand this CPU should include L2 cache on the chip (so it should run
at the same CPU speed).
