Elizabeth,

In Works, use the Save As function to save your database as a db3 or db4
file.  Then in Access you File>Get External Data>Import.

Then in the Import window, change to file type db3 or db4, locate the file
you saved as a db3 or db4 on the computer and click on Import.

You may still have to massage the data and or other work in Access.  That
is the only way I know of to do what you want.
