Hello all. Was taking advantage of free net access today in a
facility's computer room. I noticed that the station next to me had
problems when user was editing a Word document. After editing and
printing multiple documents, Word started crashing (GPFs referencing an
HP driver *.drv; this was all I could gather while shoulder surfing).
She would exit Word, restart and open a doc, then any keyboard or mouse
movement would generate the GPF. The only advice I could offer was to
restart the system. This helped; at least she experienced no more
problems while I was there. But I'm curious as to what could have
caused the problem; for my own edification. Corrupted printer driver
that would necessitate a reinstall? Other? TIA
