A friend asked me about this, but I haven't the faintest idea what to
suggest.  Can any gurus help us out here?  TIA

I'm having a devil of a time getting rid of an IPF
when opening Word 97 on a Windows 95 platform. It crashes upon launching
everytime. I've done everything the Microsoft Troubleshooter has
suggested, but to no avail. I've uninstalled and re-installed MS Office
97 a million times -- the last time I even went into the RegEdit and
cleaned out all MS Office 97 components before re-installing. Still - it
hangs and crashes. Does this sound like a virus to you?
