WinZip, www.winzip.com , came out with a new version that increased the
encryption strength that the ZIP format can use. Perhaps your files are not
compatible with your favorite program anymore. WinZip, is by far the most
used program to archive and send compressed files. WinRAR or the RAR format
is now a close second. I would check with the company that makes your
program for an update or support.

Subject: Zip program problem
PCSOFT Digest - 29 Feb 2004 to 1 Mar 2004 (#2004-62)Hi,
I have used CoffeeCup Free Zip Wizard for my zip files. For some =
unknown reason, I am now unable to unzip files using this program. I =
have deleted and downloaded CoffeeCup twice in an attempt to get it to =
work.
Each time, I went into the Control Panel and deleted the program using =
Add/Remove. I then manually removed any CoffeeCup files by going under =
"Find."
I then downloaded JustZipIt, another free program which appears to be =
much simpler. It's instructions for zipping and unzipping state to =
right-click on a file and JustZipIt would appear on the drop down list. =
However, CoffeeCup is on the list, rather than JustZipIt. When I =
originally downloaded CoffeeCup, I remember checking a box to make =
CoffeeCup my primary zip program. I am also still able to find many =
CoffeeCup zip files which I had been unable to open even prior to =
deleting the program.
Any suggestions for clearing up this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
S. Kiellach
