Ok, try this. Start with a good PDF file, rename it to something.pdf.temp,
then send it as an attachment. On receipt, save it to disk and rename it
back to something.pdf and try to open it. If that does not work, then first
zip the file and send the .zip as an attachment. On receipt extract the pdf
and see if you can read it. Let us know what the results are.
