We may be talking about different versions of Iomega tools.  Since the one I
have installed works fine I follow the "don't mess with it if it's working"
principle so I haven't upgraded to the newest version.  If you don't have a
shortcut to one step backup after the installation, maybe you can create
your own.  The shortcut on my system reads
"C:\Program Files\Iomega\Iomega Backup\program\dt.exe"  /b
The dt.exe is the full tools program.  the /b is a switch to start one step.
You would have to adjust the path to match your own system.  Try creating a
new shortcut.
