On this computer, does not happen on my other one, I find that certain
lines of text, such as "Subject," "Date," "From" and "To," show up in
e-mail in a font that appears somewhat crude (old). Bold face "O"
almost looks like a star washer but really has only a white cross in the
middle (or say it has four prongs protruding toward the center of the
letter but not touching). Other letters of this font show the same
characteristics. This happens not only in e-mail but also in certain
lines of web sites. It also occurs in some of the menus of Win98. I
guess I picked up this font in some program and it is added to my system
font. Does anyone know where this choice of font comes from so I can
select another to make it more readable and pleasant to the eye. TIA,
Ken
