I think he's refering to the formatting technique, such as the one MS uses to
fomat their disks to 1.67 MB, thus making them "uncopyable". As far as I know,
you have to use the /t: switch and set the tracks (normally 80?, DOS read up
to 87? I thik that's what I've heard) I'd just go download a copy of
fdread.exe and fdwrite. These do the same things. They're DOS programs/TSRs.
WinImage also has built-in support for reading and formatting 1.67 MB disks.
