Hi Michael,

To import files into OE, try this trick. Create folders in your new Outlook Express with the exact same names as the ones from your old computer. Copy the old files onto a floppy or CD. Close the new OE and go to where it stores your dbx files. Replace the dbx files with the OLD dbx files that you copied. The next time you open OE, your folders should have all your previous emails in them. The problem is with the index file. This method makes it think nothing has changed.

Good Luck,
Gail Titus

I turned on "View all files" and was able to copy the OE files from the CD to my HP laptop in the appropriate Local
Settings file path. Now I need help getting these files imported into OE.
