I am using MSWord97 on a 166Mhz machine running Win95.

Here are my two problems:

1. When I highlight some text and try to delete it by pressing the
delete key on the keyboard, I must then press "Y" to confirm that I
really do want to delete the text.

2. When pressing Home to move to the very left side of the screen, I
must then press the left arrow key on the keyboard.

I know that I do not have to do either of these in other applications
(like in Netscape Messenger). How can I change these features so that I
can more efficiently delete text and move about in the document?
