Hugh's right. I almost never get spam through my gmail account (which actually downloads into my Outlook Express pop app). You must be looking in your spam folder.

Besides "reporting" spam from your inbox, you can also say that something in your spam folder is "not spam" and it will come to your inbox in the future. You can also set your own filters in gmail, as well.

Are these in your inbox or your SPAM folder?
In any case, just select them, select, "Report SPAM" at the top, and
you'll never hear from them again.
It's very unusual to get SPAM in a GMAIL account.
