Greg,

When you save a file, it opens the Save As Dialog box.
Its default position is in the center of the screen.
This type of window( dialog,browse-for-folder etc) is generally not 
resizable.

However,you could try ResizeEnable

It works for some dialog windows.No guarantees.
With the right programming,you can make a custom version
and replace the default GUI,but thats a different story :)
