I recently re-installed my oem(HP)version of Win 98 and everything went fine except that I keep getting the following message on boot up:
error starting program-a required .dll file WBHOOK32.DLL was not found.
I can enter "ok" and it goes away and nothing seems different from before reinstall except that I don't get the usual dos screen showing me the "scanning c for viruses" that my McAfee anti virus program used to show. I have looked for the dll in my "find" program, but nothing comes up.
Does anyone have any idea what this dll is? Or if I can just delete the message and how if I can? Or where I can find it?
I would appreciate any help/advice. Thanks- Richard Rabe- [log in to unmask]
