I am using Windows XP with SP2, and WordPerfect 12.
We lost electricity during a thunderstorm and since then
when I open WordPerfect I get the message,
"Document 0 backup file exists. WordPerfect 12 did not
exit normally during its last use. A backup file contains the
last backup copy of your document. To save the backup
file please open or rename it."
There are three choices, "OPEN," "RENAME," OR "DELETE"
No matter which one I select this message is replaced by
one that says, "The file cannot be found." There is a
box with "OK" in it and when I click on that WordPerfect 12
resumes as it normally did.
Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of this annoyance?
Thank You,
John Hardiman
