Win Me is the same OS as other Win9x, ant it is based on DOS. So it
has BIOS on the C: drive (io.sys and msdos.sys). However io.sys is
different from Win98! DOS shell- command.com and DOS configuration-
autoexec.bat and config.sys. The only difference with Win98 lays in
the hard access to the DOS mode for user. However Win Me is riding on
the DOS. All DOS command are in the folder C:\Windows\Command...
Note that sys.com is last modified at 8 june 2000.
Simple way to get to DOS mode is to click F8 during loading system
and choose DOS prompt/ or step by step confirmation.
