Mike, I have Pub 97 working using w98. I did the fix for Pub. before W98 or during
W95. What are some of the programs that are not running? I'm sure I have not
checked all of mine but most of them I have. I use Netscape 4.06, all MS Office
Pro, Atom time, Soft something CAD, SmartDraw.

PS As much as I hate to say it, MS came out with a Pub 98. I wonder if their
answer to the problem was to make customers buy new software in order to fix a
problem they created (again)? If there is one thing that disappoints me about MS
(and many others) it is this.
