I hope someone can help me out. I am unable to view Java applets on web
pages. I was able to view them until I installed a new version of McAfee
Virus scan on my computer. It gave me problems so I uninstalled it, and all
my problems went away, except I cannot view applets.
I reset the options for my browser, IE 5, and it didn't help. But I did find
3 files that say they are damaged. They are, Testx.class, Playerx.dll and
Ptestx.dll.
All say damaged. Could this be the reason? And if so how do I get new one's
to replace them.
I am using windows 98SE and have 20 gigs of drive space free and 184 MB of
ram.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thank You
