Arthur,

You did not say what web browser you are using, but
it should not matter (unless you are using AOL).
No extra software is needed.

When you are viewing the web page,
click FILE -- SAVE AS, then open the
drop-down list for FILES OF TYPE
(wording will vary depending on the web browser
& version), select TXT for a text file or RTF
(if available in your browser) for a Rich Text File,
give it a name, and click SAVE.

You may also want to change the destination folder
by working with the SAVE IN drop down
at the top of the save dialog box.

The above procedure will save all the text of the web page,
but images will not be saved.  You will need to right click
each picture and save them one at a time.
