Hi John,
Try this: In Outlook Express, go to Tools / Accounts and an Internet
Accounts window will appear. On the "Mail" tab, select (highlight) your
e-mail account and click "Properties". In the Properties window, go to the
"Server" tab and enter your password. If you can't click on the space
provided for the password, check the "Remember password" box first. While
you're there, double check the server entries (POP3 & SMTP) for correctness.
Everything should be entered in lower case. Click "Apply", "OK", and close
the Internet Accounts window.

Subject: Windows XP "Outlook Express"
Since I purchased my new computer I have had to enter the password for
outlook express everytime I open it up and ask for mail. It won't save my
password. I called HP about it and was told it was something in XP that was
causing the problem. We ran through the usual tests in options and shutting
down and rebooting, but nothing works. They told me I would have to go and
find a download somewhere to fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas on how
to fix this annoying problem?
Thanks
