Sorry if this has been covered, I wandered off, and am back...
Look for settings like "saving disk space" when it will
recover disk space - so much, and that type of thing...
Did anyone ask if you move around (to mail folders)
or delete large amounts of mail all the time?
That "might" trigger it automatically.
It IS possible to fill some mailboxes in some programs.
The smart programs warn you, the smarter programs
will either "compress for you" or give you a warning
message about it...
