EasyCleaner is offered as freeware by ToniArts (Finland)

The most recent iteration is v1.7f .

I've been using the program's registry cleaner (in conjuction with
Micosoft's RegCleaner, Iolo's System Mechanic, Norton's WinDoctor and some
occasional manual registry editing) for the past several years without any
problems whatsoever.

There are other capable registry cleaners out there, but some of them tend
to be much more aggressive in their scans and require a more experienced,
sometimes expert touch to be used safely.

It is always good practice to create a fresh backup of critical system files
before beginning any registry housekeeping activities just in case something
goes very wrong.
