A question about a statement made in Information Week about a feature of
IE5 ...

The magazine states that "the browser now has an autocorrect feature that
corrects misspelled Web addresses ...". Is this really possible or is this
just marketing-speak? How can it possibly know if I've misspelled a Web
address when some of them contain non-English words? If it uses the fact
that the Web address I typed in does not exist how does it decide which is
the correct spelling when it has similar choices?

In the same article, it also mentions that the Windows 98 "Second Edition"
will include the ability to connect multiple users to the Internet via the
same connection. This sounds like the same function performed by software
like Wingate and Sygate. Does anyone have more information on this?
