Topic: Software Recommendations for PIMs and Financial Management

Thank you, Jim. I just downloaded Time & Chaos and am going to give it a
go. I have a client whose runs a Travel Agency. They are not happy w/
Outlook (nor am I) and asked if I could recommend a more friendly yet still
fully functional - professional level PIM. I need one, too so I'm killing
two birds w/ one stone.

I downloaded ACT! by Symantec last night - the trial version. Haven't had
a chance to futz w/ it much yet. I decided not to download Eudora's
Planner as they don't offer a try-before-you-buy deal. Too much money to
spend w/out knowing what I'm getting.

I'm looking forward to giving T&C a try. One thing I didn't see on T&C in
all the reviews and product write ups was anything on Reminders. My client
is particularly concerned w/ being able to schedule reminders so he can
send personal greetings, birthday cards, etc. to his clients. He'd also
like to be able to do multiple mailings from his PIM w/out the
extraordinary complexity found in Outlook.

Do you use these types of features in Time and Chaos? Something I was
hoping to find for myself was a PIM that would work w/ my TI Organizer.
Currently I use Intellisync from Puma Technology to sync up Outlook and my
Pocket Mate 400 TI Organizer. I saw that they have a plugin for Palm Tops
but I didn't see anything for any other electronic organizers. That would
be the one draw back for me. I really enjoy being able to download from my
desktop computer PIM to my electronic organizer. Really handy.

Thanx again for the feed back.
