You might also consider using Tiny Firewall - a freeware product that works
well for me under Windows 2000. I had lots of trouble with ZoneAlarm. Also,
Tiny Firewall is easier to understand and configure (my opinion).

I've been using ZoneAlarm on a dialup connection for about a week
now, and loving it! Not only does it block hackers and other unwanted
intrusions from the net, but it also catches spyware which may be
running on your computer (without your knowledge), thereby preventing
your data and other personal information from being stolen and/or
collected by persons or companies unknown.
