I have a client with a new Gateway computer, running Windows 98, whose
arrows have mysteriously disappeared from all her shortcut icons, and we'd
like to get them back.

I checked to see if she had installed TweakUI and had inadvertently hidden
her shortcut arrows. No. So I installed TweakUI, hoping to hide, then
unhide, the shortcut arrows. This had no effect.

I really have no clue what's going on, or where in the registry to look to
see if a value is wrong.

Has anybody else encountered this before? And fixed it?
