You must enable "File and Printer Sharing" first.
Right click on the "Network Neighborhood" icon on the Desktop and select
"Properties" from the menu. Click on the "File and Printer Sharing" button
and check the appropriate options.
Restart the computer and the "Sharing" option will be on the menu.
Once you have added a password to protect a folder, the password will be
required to open that folder over a network. It will not be required to open
a folder at your workstation, even if you log on as a different user.
