Margarita,

Look through all of the programs listed in the "Program Files" directory
("C" hard disk/boot disk) to see if any sound like they may be a pop-up
blocker. If you find some, verify that they are, then uninstall them. Next
get a good pop-up blocker like: http://www.bayden.com/Popper/default.asp
This blocker (PopUp Popper) lets you allow any pop ups you want, or block
what you want with a small pop-up window that goes away after you select.

Good luck!
