The best rule thumb I use is:
1: current set-up running without any problems - ok to upgrade
2: current set-up crashes - upgrade 10X more likely to crash - do
clean install.
My preferred method is to do a clean install every rtime.

I am sure this one has been hashed a lot before, but,,,
I want to upgrade to windows 98, and would like to know if its ok
to install it over my existing Windows 95.
Or do i have to do a clean install, and reinstall all my other
apps... dread the thought....*s*
thanks in advance..
